Michael Nichols, a member of Peachtree City Chapter in Peachtree City,
was selected as the Georgia DeMolay Online "DeMolay of the Month" for December
2007. He has been a member of DeMolay since June of 2007 and attends Fayette High
School. We sat down with Michael to learn a little more about him....
GDO:
Michael, congratulations on your selection as GDO's December DeMolay
of the Month. We want our web site visitors to learn a little more
about you and your DeMolay career. How did you find out about and get
involved with DeMolay?
Michael:
My friend, Hunter Sullivan, told me and my parents about it.
They investigated it and said it was okay for me to join.
GDO:
What do you like best about DeMolay?
Michael:
The ritual work.
GDO:
We have heard that you have a high dedication to the order and encourage
membership in your chapter. What do you feel the best way to foster
membership growth?
Michael:
Have fun activities that we can bring friends to so they can meet
everybody and learn about what we do.
GDO:
You joined DeMolay in June and have now been a member for about six months. What do
you think has been the most valuable part of DeMolay so far for you?
Michael:
Having people to talk to about things that I may or may not want
to talk about with my parents.
GDO:
What are your goals for your future in DeMolay?
Michael:
Go through the line in my Chapter and try to serve the State as a
State Officer.

Michael knows how to have a good time.

GDO:
Outside of DeMolay, what are some of your other interests and activities?
Michael:
Basketball, baseball, TV & video games, and sports statistics.
GDO:
Thank you for your time, Michael, and congratulations again on your selection as GDO's
DeMolay of the Month!
Michael:
Thank you for this honor.
