Georgia DeMolays Attend Washington DC Degrees
Washington, DC - Six members of Georgia DeMolay made the trip to Washington, DC
to participate in degree held at the Scottish Rite House of the Temple. While in Washington
the guys got a tour of The White House and Capitol, went to the Jefferson Memorial, to the
Smithsonian Natural History and Air Space Museums. They also got to enjoy dining at area
restaurants including the Old Post Office, which has been converted into a food mall and a
Thai restaurant. Making the trip were Brothers Peter Bard, David Wellman, Jonathan Noud,
and Jacob Somers from Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter, and our State Master Councilor Michael
Griggers and James O'Neal from Clayton Chapter. In the actual degree work Michael Griggers
performed 2nd preceptor, David Wellman 7th preceptor and Lord Constable. Peter Bard filled
the part of Senior Deacon, and James O'Neal performed the Marshal's part. An excellent
performance was turned in by all the guys who performed parts.
