State Officers "SOAR"
KENNESAW, GA - On the weekend of August 4-6 the State Officers of the Associated
DeMolay Chapters of Georgia held their annual SOAR weekend. The State Officers heard a
number of educational and training sessions including: A session on Freemasonry,
conducted by Dad Richard Cunningham of Samuel S. Lawrence Lodge, A training session
on Public Speaking, conducted by Dad Russ Nobles, Thinking outside the box,
conducted by State Chapter Dad Jim Stovall, Team Building Exercises, conducted by
Todd Stovall, and Communications, conducted by Richard Eells. The group took
Saturday afternoon and evening off to attend the Samuel S. Lawrence Installation
and Pool Party, and then returned to work on Sunday. Spirits were high after the
sessions, Kyle Corwin, State Chaplain, said after everything "All in all the
weekend was a great experience, and we are ready to get to work for Georgia DeMolay."
