And the Traveling Gavel goes to...
Mountain Park
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA - The Mountain Park Chapter held
their regular stated meeting on Tuesday August 22.
At that meeting Dad Bard presented the Traveling Gavel
to Master Councilor Zach Ford as a gesture of appreciation
for the great attendance by Mountain Park members at State
Events throughout the past year. The traveling gavel program
is designed to help promote visitation between chapters in the
state. The gavel can be claimed from Mountain Park by
another chapter if they visit Mountain Park with a minimum
of five members and one advisor.
