Georgia Chevalier Courts Hold Observances
GA - When a young man becomes a Chevalier of the Order of DeMolay he takes a vow to break bread with another Chevalier on or near the date of November 8,
which as we all know is the date the Dad Frank Land passed away. On Friday November 10 and Saturday November 11 the Savannah and Atlanta Courts held their
observances. On Friday 13 Chevaliers met in Savannah enjoyed a meal and re-elected Dad Hugh D'Anna as their Court Commander and Gary Vinson, Jr. as Court
Secretary, The following night 12 Chevaliers and their dates or wives gathered at Garrisons restaurant in suburban Atlanta for their observance. At the
Atlanta Observance Michael Griggers was elected to the post of Court Commander and Perry Bennett was re-elected Court Secretary.
