Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter Holds Canned Food Drive

MARIETTA, GA - In the year 2000 State Sweetheart Jodie Bennett's project for the year was a statewide canned food drive. Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter held their first canned food drive that year and it was such a success that the chapter has continued to have one every year since. This year was no exception, the members collected canned goods in two neighborhoods and presented the collected food to MUST Ministries in Marietta this past week. In the photo are Jacob Somers, Junior Councilor, Hunter Arceneaux, Second Preceptor, Peter Bard, PMC and State Senior Deacon and SMC Geoff Bard. Members who also participated in the food collection but are not in the photo were, Master Councilor and State Junior Deacon David Wellman, Christian Wellman, Senior Deacon, Michael Reece, Junior Steward, and Chris Somers, Chaplain.
