Spring Jam 2007 was a Blast!

COVINGTON, GA - Saturday morning came early to those attending the 2007 Spring Jam. State Master Councilor Geoff Bard opened the Saturday morning session with a question, "Who wants to have some fun?" Fun was had the rest of day by the over 60 DeMolays, advisors, sweethearts and parents club members in attendance. Thanks to some innovative scheduling by State Junior Councilor Todd Stovall and the addition of some new activities the day proceeded at a more relaxed pace than in past years, but by day's end the DeMolays were all worn out and ready to get some rest. The results of the contests were:

Ultimate Frisbee
First Place: Mountain Park Chapter
Second Place: Peachtree City Chapter

First Place: Mountain Park Chapter
Second Place: Peachtree City Chapter

Volleyball
First Place: Peachtree City Chapter
Second Place: Clayton/Don R Roberts Chapter

Putt Putt
First Place: Andrew Foster, Mountain Park Chapter
Second Place: David Wellman, Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter

2 Man Canoe Races
First Place: David Wellman(Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter)/Donny Robertson (Mountain Park Chapter)
Second Place: Todd Stovall/Richie Eells (Mountain Park Chapter)

Sportsmanship Trophy: Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter

Hunter Arceneaux and Jean-Luc Fontenot compete in the canoe race.
