Mountain Park Hosts Five Chapters
Georgia DeMolay Reaches Positive Growth!
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA - On July 24, 2007, Demolays from five chapters in Georgia participated in joint degrees hosted by Mountain Park Chapter. The following Chapters participated in the degrees: Mountain Park, Samuel S. Lawrence, Middle Georgia, Clayton and Peachtree City. Three new members of Georgia DeMolay received both degrees, two other members received their DeMolay Degree, and an advisor joining the George Washington Chapter received his DeMolay Degree. There were over 30 DeMolays and senior DeMolays in attendance and numerous advisors. Dad Marc Bohn, the Executive Officer of the Associated Chapters of DeMolay in Georgia witnessed the degrees along with other dignitaries. After the degrees, Dad Bohn welcomed Georgia DeMolay’s newest members into the fraternity and congratulated the members of the multi-chapter degree teams on working together and conferring excellent degrees. Dad Bohn then announced that this initiation resulted in Georgia having positive growth Conclave to Conclave for the first time in a number of years. He also encouraged the group to keep up the good work with membership and challenged the DeMolays to continue to initiate new members the rest of 2007 so that Georgia DeMolay can also achieve positive growth for calendar Year 2007. Congratulations to all of the members of Georgia DeMolay!
