Combs Invested as Chevalier
Griffin Receives Cross of Honor
SAVANNAH, GA - In a ceremony at the Savannah Scottish Rite Center on September 9, Sean Anthony Combs was
invested with the Degree of Chevalier, the highest honor an Active DeMolay can receive. Also at the ceremony,
Dad Clyde Everett Griffin, PGM, received the Cross of Honor, the highest honor given for service as a DeMolay
Advisor. Both honor recipients were unable to attend the State Conclave, held two months ago in Marietta.
The Lester A. Michels Court of Chevaliers performed the Chevalier Investiture with Gary T. Vinson, Jr. presiding as
Grand Commander in the East. The Cross of Honor ceremony was presided over by Bryan R. Newport, with Grand Master of Masons in Georgia Eli A. Stafford assisting.
