State Officers Attend Grand Lodge
MACON, GA - On October 23, State Senior Deacon Peter Bard and State Marshal
Donald Robertson attended the 221st Annual Communication of the Grand
Lodge of Georgia. A DeMolay informational booth
was set up during the morning session of Grand Lodge in order for Masons
in attendance to ask questions and to inform them about the activities of DeMolay
in Georgia. Many Masons commented about how proud they are to be a part of the
George Washington's Alumni Chapter.
The State Officers also had the opportunity to attend the Masonic picnic.
Each Masonic District prepares food, and then everyone enjoys all the food.
The menu this year included shrimp, roasted pork, steak, grits, and
numerous sides. Georgia DeMolay provided the now-famous peach cobbler for
dessert. Those in attendance at the picnic were
State Master Councilor Richard W. Eells II, State Senior Councilor Todd A.
Stovall, State Senior Deacon Peter Bard and State Marshal Donald Robertson.
Also attending were Chapter Sweethearts Lisa Pitchford of Samuel S.
Lawrence Chapter and Bobbie Stringer of Middle Georgia Chapter.
