Peachtree City Chapter Wins State Basketball Tournament
MACON, GA - The Masonic Children's Home of Georgia was the site for Georgia DeMolay's state basketball
tournament on April 5 as representative teams from across the state gathered to compete for the state championship.
Under the direction of State Athletic Coordinator Russ Nobles, the play began in the morning. Taking a break for
lunch at noon, a delicious meal was prepared and served by the Georgia DeMolay Alumni Association with play
resuming in the afternoon. In the end the championship trophy went to Peachtree City Chapter. Following the day
of competition the guys got cleaned up, dressed up, and attended the Miss Rainbow Dance at the Macon Scottish
Rite Center that evening, showing support for our sister organization.
