Joint Initiation Held, Four Initiated

MARIETTA, GA - Article Text Peachtree City, Samuel S. Lawrence, and Mountain Park Chapters combined on Monday, December 1 to initiate four new members: two for Samuel S. Lawrence, one for Peachtree City and one for Mountain Park. This marked a milestone for Peachtree City chapter as its new member brings its total membership to 25 and qualifies the chapter to receive its Charter.

At the same meeting, Peachtree City Chapter also and took the Traveling Gavel from Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter. The gavel has been bouncing back and forth between Peachtree City and Samuel S. Lawrence since Peachtree City took it home from Conclave 2008. If you want to take it away from these two chapters, come to Peachtree City's next stated meeting on Monday, January 12, 2009. But you better come in force because Samuel S. Lawrence has promised to come and take it back.
