Benedetti Installed as Illustrious Knight Commander
ATLANTA, GA - At the annual Georgia DeMolay Tournament of Champions, held February 6-7 at the Atlanta Masonic Center, Christopher Benedetti
was installed as Illustrious Knight Commander of the State Priory of Georgia, Order of Knighthood. He will lead the body for
the next year. The Order of Knighthood is an appendant body of DeMolay for active members age 17 and older. Its purpose is to assist DeMolay Chapters
and maintain the active interest of older DeMolays.
The State Priory held a number of additional events during the Tournament of Champions, including an Investiture Ceremony on Friday evening to induct
four new members into the Priory. Late in the evening, the Priory portrayed the Ebon Degree, one of the most meaningful and powerful ceremonies in
all of DeMolay. This marks the first time in over 15 years that the Ebon Degree has been portrayed by a cast of active members. On Saturday evening, the
Priory held the installation of officers for the next term, when Sir Knight Benedetti was installed as Illustrious Knight Commander.

Benedetti receives the vow of office from outgoing IKC Paul Hunt.
