The End of an Era: The Bard Bus Retires
KENNESAW, GA - June 15, 2009 marks the official retirement of the "Bard Bus," which was given that
name by PSMC Justin Nobles following an extended trip in 2002. The 1999 Chevrolet Venture van was a staple
at Georgia DeMolay and international events from 2001 to 2009 and assisted transporting DeMolays from many
different chapters across the state and other places, from New Orleans, Washington D.C., Kansas City, and
Buffalo. The "Bard Bus" was replaced by a 2006 Chrystler Town & Country named by sons Geoff and Peter as
"Bard Bus Version 2.0." "Bard Bus 1.0" had logged over 317,000 miles by the time of its retirement.
Geoff Bard cleans the remaining materials out of the bus at auto dealers'.
