Metro Atlanta Chapters Assist Serviceman in Afghanistan
HAMPTON, GA - Staff Sergeant Keith Fricke is in the US Marines and currently serving in Afghanistan at Camp Leatherneck as a part of the Reparable Issue Point (RIP).
Clayton Chapter collected Almoner funds from Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter, Peachtree City Chapter, Mountain Park Chapter, as well as its own and sent ten boxes of
hard-to-find items, such as duct tape, electrical tape and socks, as well as munchable treats to the Marine Staff Sergeant. They all arrived and were very well received.
"Thanks for the picture and all of the boxes have gotten here in the past two days. I've given a lot of it to some of the people we deal with that have coworkers
out at the forward bases. The base I'm on, while austere in its own right, has some creature comforts that the satellite camps don't have so, believe me, stuff from
home is always very much appreciated! There are a bunch of happy fat kids running around what with all of the snacks you guys sent as well! Tell your group thanks again,
on behalf of all of us. We really appreciate all of the support from you guys!"
