Perry Bennett! What a year this outstanding young man has had. Rising to the ranks of Illustrious Knight Commander of the Order of Knighthood, serving as State Marshal, and being made a Chevalier. It was a bittersweet moment for Perry with this high honor being awarded him and having gone through the Majority Service just the day before. He had done his best .... and his best was the best.
Relaxed after having the weight of the state organization lifted from his shoulders, Justin gives a token to each of his officers and thanks them for the wonderful support they showed him during his term of office. Conclave 2002 was, by the accounts of most every DeMolay present, the best Conclave ever. Filled with excitement, enthusiasm, heart-touching moments, professionalism and fun, it has set a standard by which future Conclaves shall be measured.
Much of the credit is owed to Jim Bard, State Director of Events, who for this and many other outstanding services to Georgia DeMolay was named Advisor of the Year.
