Conclave 2003 PhotosPhoto Album Credits Back to Event Index Page | Next Page Conclave 2003 was held at Athens, Georgia, home of the University of Georgia and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Conclave began on Thursday to allow more time for sports competition and fun this year. The Olympic-sized pool at UGA felt great in the summer heat.
"Come on, Michael, a little cold water won't hurt you!" Mountain Park Chapter Sweetheart Ginnie Poorbaugh insists that State Senior Deacon Michael Griggers join everyone in the pool. You can count on the Chapter Sweethearts to keep the guys 'up to their necks' in whatever's going on.
"Oh no you don't!" State Marshal Craig Miller gently coaxes fellow Augusta Chapter member Michael Rakestraw back into the pool.
"Now you cut that out!" Dad Hannah, State Director of Athletics, gets a soaking from the chest up, courtesy of the thoughtful and helpful guys who thought he might be getting a little too hot.
More swimmers arrive. What a great way to start off Conclave 2003!
"No, it does not say 'No Dad's Allowed', it says no diving!" Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter Dad Russ Nobles gets right into the thick of things.
"Don't shoot, Justin!" Nothing like a neat pool to bring out the little kid in all of us.
