State Chapter Dad Gary Vinson, Sr. helps kick off the opening of
Conclave 2003.

With Conclave being expanded to four days, everything could
proceed at a more relaxed pace.

There were many new faces among the DeMolays that had come from
all across the state, indicating the new growth of the organization, which has
more than doubled the number of new members over last year's count.

Conclave is a wonderful opportunity to see old friends and meet
new ones from all across the state and across the country. In addition to the
International Master Councilor, there were four other State Master Councilors
present. Everybody was ready to conduct their business, the first order of which
was the election of new officers.

Mountain Park Past Master Councilor Richie Eells nominates
fellow member and biological brother Chris Eells for the position of State
Master Councilor.

Chris accepts the nomination and outlines his vision for
Georgia DeMolay during the year 2003/2004.

Samuel S. Lawrence Master Councilor Geoff Bard nominates Jackie
Moody of Cecil Cheves Chapter for State Senior Councilor.

Jackie accepts his nomination and
outlines his vision for DeMolay in the upcoming year.
In the only contested race Junior Past State Master Councilor
Justin Nobles of Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter places the name of Michael Griggers of
Clayton Chapter into nomination for State Junior Councilor. Michael stressed
the importance of education in moving DeMolay forward.
Illustrious Knight Commander Brian Eidson of Clayton Chapter
places the name of Alex Williams of Clayton Chapter into nomination for State
Junior Councilor. Alex also stressed the importance of education.

Dad Bohn presented the Strategic Plan that has been developed to
help the adult leadership support the youth over the next three years of DeMolay
growth and development.
