Conclave 2006 PhotosFriday morning rolls around and Conclave 2006 is officially underway!
State Chapter Dad Jim Bard makes a few start up announcements and gets everyone in their seats. Quite a feat with all these cool cats!
Everyone is in earnest to see what the State Officers have planned for their special opening.
The guys come out casually dressed and imitating some of their favorite movie stars. Emory at Oxford has a great stage for such drama. This is one reason why the guys like this campus so much. The stage is wonderfully large with an overhead screen. It is unbeatable!
State Executive Officer Dad Marc Bohn welcomes everyone back to Emory at Oxford and congratulates Michael on a fun opening.
State Marshal Stephen Bohn escorts the International Congress Secretary, John Nathaniel "Nate" Stallings, to the podium. This outstanding DeMolay from Manassas, Virginia made a real hit with the Georgia delegation that went to the International Congress Session in Seattle, Washington earlier in the year and Michael was delighted when he accepted the invitation to attend Georgia's Conclave.
Dad Bohn took this opportunity to present State Junior Deacon, Peter Bard, with an award he earned at the Old South Tournament in New Orleans for his excellent presentation of All Seven Preceptors lectures.
Mom Sue Stovall, the new Director of State Parents Clubs, made several announcements.
Now dressed in their finest, the 2005/2006 State Officer team get the crowd going with a spirit cheer!
Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter delights the crowd with their spirit chant featuring rapper David Wellman.
Middle Georgia Chapter has an oh too cool chant led by Andrew Meeks.
Past State Master Councilor Julius Moody of Cecil Cheves Chapter joins the guys from Don R. Roberts Chapter for a song and dance routine.
The newly constituted Peachtree City DeMolay Pilot Chapter is rapidly growing and goes to the stage for the first time to enter their Chapter Spirit Cheer.
Clayton Chapter brought a strong contingent to Conclave and rocked the auditorium with their spirit cheer.
Mountain Park offers up their spirit cheer to round out the competitors for the 2006 Spirit Can.
