Georgia Leaders Academy 2002 Photos

What makes the Georgia Leaders Academy so interesting is Dad
Bohn's participatory style of presenting. He engages the students and uses role
playing to add an element of fun to the learning process.

In this fascinating exercise, Dad Bohn tries to instill in the
students an appreciation for how people often see the same things differently. "Your
views reflect how you were raised and what you learned along the way. Each
person is unique," Dad Bohn points out.
David Weathers (Cecil Cheves) found this exercise very interesting.

Dad Harry Bruno was there representing the Grand Lodge of
Georgia, which is evaluating whether the Georgia Leaders Academy could be
adapted into a course for wardens and masters in Georgia's Masonic lodges.

Dad William Carver is the Chairman of the Georgia DeMolay
Foundation, the organization that funds and supports the Georgia Leaders
Academy.

Justin paralyzes Adam with "the finger" during a
break. It took several of us and a bucket of water to revive him (just
teasing). Could this maneuver be something these two have learned in
Knighthood?

Steven Gourley, Greensboro Chapter, North Carolina, takes the
lead for his group. By this time in the meeting it was transparent that some of
the folks in the class were from other states. DeMolay is indeed international.

The 2002 Georgia Leaders Academy class was the largest ever. Dad
Bohn likes to keep class size to fifteen to allow everyone to participate, but
it is difficult to turn anyone away.
