The Georgia Leaders Academy is beginning to attract attention at DeMolay International, which is thinking about expanding the exceptional program nationally. The Executive Officers from both of the Carolinas brought one of their state DeMolay officers to take the course and evaluate whether they wanted to expand GLA to their home state.

North Carolina Executive Officer Chuck Rouse and Georgia EO Marc Bohn.

A grimacing Dad Marc Bohn cries "Uncle!" as diminutive Chuck Rouse, the DeMolay Executive Officer from North Carolina, demonstrates his powerful, bone crushing grip in response to Dad Bohn's unadvised quip, "Do you guys in South Carolina need the short version of this course?"

Dad Rouse is short, but not that short. A really fun guy, he was clowning around for the camera and Marc is actually reacting with laughter, not pain!

Three EO's: Dads Chuck Crouse, Marc Bohn and Bob Bean

Dad Bob Bean, Executive Officer from South Carolina, joined his peers from North Carolina and Georgia for a group shot. Lot of brass in one place, but the Carolina EO's quickly became ordinary members of the class and soon all distinctions were forgotten.

Dad Bohn starts the class.

"Well, enough introductions, we are here to learn some leadership skills!" Dad Bohn cranks up the class.

Todd Stovall and L. J. Keel

Todd Stovall (Mountain Park) and L. J. Keel (Augusta) are ready!

Justin Nobles and Robert Warr

State Master Councilor Justin Nobles (SSL) and State Senior Steward Robert Warr (Augusta) came by to assist Dad Bohn with the class. "I can take this class over and over again. I never tire of it," says Justin.

Adam Perry and Marcos De Los Santos

Adam Perry (Clayton) enjoys poking fun at Marcos De Los Santos (SSL) during the introductions.

Dads Respress Carr and Dale Jenkins

Dad Respress Carr (Augusta) and Dad Dale Jenkins (SSL) got as much out of the class as the DeMolays.

Team 1 - The Players' Club

Team #1 adopted the name "The Players Club"

Team # 2: The Patriots

Team # 2 provided some great artwork to illustrate their team name, the Patriots.

Team # 3 - The Pop Tops

Team # 3, inspired by the refreshments provided by Mom Bohn, called themselves the Pop Tops.
