Holiday Formal 2003 PhotosPhoto Album Credits Back to Event Index Page | Next Page The DeMolays returned to the Tybee Lite Shrine Club on December 6 for the 2003 Holiday Formal.
State Master Councilor Chris Eells called a meeting of his state officers early in the afternoon to go over details for the Holiday Formal and to review the plans for the remaining six months of his term.
Chris welcomes his guests and thanks the State Parents Club and others that helped plan the event.
Chris is especially delighted to welcome Jonathan Snyder who was home on leave from service in Iraq. Jonathan had served during the fierce fighting and was slated to return for another tour of duty. Jonathan is an active member of Don R. Roberts Chapter and is a former State Chaplain. Everyone was glad to see him and made him feel very welcome.
Dad Stovall and Dad Eells are present to enjoy the Holiday Formal.
"This isn't what you think it is. I'm preparing the food, not eating it!" Mom Williams gets caught red handed with her fingers in the cookie jar. We will make allowances since she did a fantastic job coordinating the refreshments for this years event. The Holiday Formal wouldn't be the same without the great food prepared by the moms and dads.
State Sweetheart Ginnie Poorbaugh radiates the Shrine Center with her tiara, red dress and beautiful smile.
It seems that the Holiday Formal always falls on a significant Georgia Bulldogs playoff game. The fans gather around the TV to see Georgia play LSU.
Beth is Samuel S. Lawrence's Chapter Sweetheart and wastes no time getting Knighthood Squire Commander Adam Fowler to the dance floor.
Being the Past State Master Councilor Justin has learned how to attract the real gems!
Grace is already having fun. She keeps the dance floor hot all night long with an unlimited supply of energy.
Mom Moody is another source of unending energy and debates whether she will follow doctors orders and stay off a broken foot. Our guess is "No!"
