NASCAR Fund Raiser 2008 PhotosPhoto Album Credits It was that time again where young men, advisors, moms and sweethearts from all over the state volunteered their time and sacrificed their sleep schedule to work for Georgia DeMolay at....NASCAR!!! WHOOOO!!!!
Here is where dreams (and money to help support Georgia DeMolay) are made!
Entering the Speedway the week before the race, everything seems so quiet, so empty, so peaceful....
Thanks to some dedicated workers from Clayton Chapter, those who worked the race were able to have light and heat from the new sheds. This was extremely helpful during those long, cold rainy nights.
"No, Richie, I did not bring you prime rib." Mom Sue Stovall and her team of Moms kept everyone fed during the whole week of the race.
State Sweetheart Khrystle and past Middle Georgia Chapter Sweetheart Summer are never too tired for a photo op!
"That is the funniest knock-knock joke I ever heard, Todd!" says State Junior Councilor Mike.
Dad Stovall shows off the latest fashions for NASCAR volunteers.
"Soooo.....Sleeee....pppyyyyy!" Volunteers worked long hours to help man campgrounds.
A sleepy, but lovely as always, Mom Stovall goes out for yet another food run.
Adult workers gave up their time to help Georgia DeMolay. Thanks Moms and Dads!
The members of Hampton Lodge opened up their building to let workers sleep in between shifts.
As dedicated NASCAR fans say, "If you want it to rain (or snow) in Atlanta... have a race!"
Thousands of people filled the snow-speckled campgrounds of Atlanta Motor Speedway to join in the fun of the race.
Dad Bohn, who works very long hours to make sure that things run smoothly, has mastered the art of sleeping while standing up.
