SMC Reception 2003 PhotosPhoto Album Credits Back to Event Index Page | Next Page State Master Councilor Chris Eells was honored with a reception at Yaarab Shrine Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Mountain Park Chapter rolled out the red carpet and did an outstanding job in making this a fun event.
Georgia DeMolay is proud of the fine leadership at the top. Chris and State Sweetheart Ginnie Poorbaugh do a good job putting the best face on the organization. It is sometimes not apparent how much effort by the parents goes into making these young folks look great. Kudos to Mom Eells, who searched all over Georgia to find green vests and bow ties to accommodate State Master Councilor Chris Eells' favorite color. Looks pretty good, no?
This young man's imagination is out of this world, as illustrated by his fun symbol, Marvin the Martian.
Chris welcomes Laura Klenke, Grand Worthy Advisor of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, State of Georgia.
Mom and Dad Eells show their pride and their support in their son by presenting Chris with a plaque depicting his term pin and featuring his motto: B.L.A.S.T. which stands for "Building Leadership and Strengthening Teamwork". The two gavels are those he wielded as Master Councilor of Mountain Park Chapter and as State Master Councilor of the Associated DeMolay Chapters of Georgia.
For Georgia DeMolay there is only one DJ! A Senior DeMolay himself, Jon Challen knows what the young folks like and keeps them on the dance floor till they drop!
Heather Bohn is destined to be a State Sweetheart someday. She certainly has State Senior Councilor Julius Moody and State Chaplain Geoff Bard wrapped around her little finger.
Chris' Grandmother, Vicky Conklin, came in all the way from Spokane, Washington to attend Chris' reception. Now we all know where Mom Eells gets her zany ways. Her mother, a native of Canada, is a real cut up!
Krystle, Meagan, and Danielle look like pedals in a flower with their bright smiles and vivid array of colors.
